Technique
Follow these steps to practice the Dragon Ball Qigong Form effectively:
- Starting Position: Stand with your feet shoulder-width apart, knees slightly bent, and your body relaxed. Keep your spine straight and your weight evenly distributed.
- Forming the Ball: Bring your hands in front of your body, as if you are holding a large ball. Keep your palms facing each other, about 8-12 inches apart. Imagine a glowing, energetic ball forming between your hands.
- Energy Expansion: Inhale deeply as you slowly expand your hands outward, visualizing the ball growing larger and more powerful.
- Energy Compression: Exhale slowly as you bring your hands closer together, feeling the ball condense and intensify with energy.
- Circular Motion: Move the imaginary ball in slow, circular patterns in front of your body, shifting its position while maintaining its shape and energy.
- Dynamic Push and Pull: Extend your hands forward as if projecting the energy outward, then draw them back toward your center. Imagine controlling the ball’s energy flow as it moves.
- Complete the Practice: Gradually reduce the motion, letting the ball dissolve into your body. Rest your hands at your sides and take a few deep breaths, visualizing the energy spreading throughout your body.
