We’re sorry to see you go, and we completely respect your choice. This page covers your data from the Club Qigong website and the Club Qigong app (Android and iPhone), both run by Club Qigong / Joe Moody.
🌿 What we’ll delete
- Your Club Qigong member account and login
- Your profile details (name, email, preferences)
- Your course progress, favorites, and activity history
- Your newsletter subscription. You’ll be removed from our email list completely.
📁 What we’re required to keep
For tax and accounting purposes, the law requires us to keep basic records of past purchases in our billing system. This includes your name, email, and the date and amount of each transaction. These records are stored securely, used only for legal and tax compliance, never used for marketing, and deleted once the legal retention period ends (typically up to 7 years).
📊 A note about the tools we use
Like most websites, we rely on a few trusted partners to run Club Qigong: tools for sending our newsletter, understanding how people use the site, and seeing whether our ads are working. When your data is deleted, we remove you from the tools we manage (like our email list) and stop sending anything about you to our advertising and analytics partners. Some of those partners, such as Google and Facebook, may still hold data they collected before your request. You can manage that directly in your account settings with them. - We’ll confirm we received your request, usually within 2 business days.
- Your data will be deleted within 30 days.
💡 Have an active membership? Deleting your data doesn’t automatically cancel a subscription. Please cancel it here first so you aren’t charged again.
