๐ฅ Joe’s “Big Fat Brunch” โย and what he eats the most
Thereโ a saying โEat breakfast like a king, lunch like a prince, and dinner like a pauper.โ This means breakfast should be the biggest meal of the day for energy while allowing the most time to burn off the calories. Lunch should be moderately sized to sustain productivity, and dinner should be kept light to aid digestion and promote better sleep, aligning with the bodyโs metabolic rhythms.
While I found it nice to have a small breakfast, I do concentrate on having a really big brunch that can last an hour or more. It helps keeps me from having as many cravings later on, when thereโs less time to burn up what I eat.
My “Big Fat Brunch”
I mix it up with these common themes:
๐ Rice (made in a RiceRobot) with sweet potatoes, cauliflower, brocolli (topped with extra pasture-raised butter). I often mix brown and white rice.
๐ฅ Humus with anything
๐ Maple Syrup on almost anything! ๐คฃ (but moderation as itโs high sugar)
๐ง Aged cheddar cheese straight or with corn chips and Hippeas Chickpea Puffs (see snack section)
๐ฎ Corn โStreet Tacosโ fried in Avocado Oil (better for high heat than others) with all kinds of veggies and even dried fruit, beans and meat if needing more protein, top it off with ๐ Balsamic Vinegar and wow!
