Find Your Soulmate by First Finding Your Soul: A Journey Within

It’s true, you’re more likely to find your soulmate if you get closer to your soul.

So here comes a few ways to do just that.

We all have two voices in our head. One is the loud voice of the ego. That’s the one we hear most of the time yelling about what it wants, me, me, me.

The other is the quiet voice of intuition.

And so once you actually quiet the loud voice, that softer, more quiet voice becomes easier to hear.

That’s the one that’ll take you down your true path.

Intuition is kind of like a translator through your soul. So the soul’s intentions and dreams and visions can more easily be translated.

How to listen to intuition? It often arrives in a flash before the rational ego mind has a chance to kick in with all its fears and doubts.

And so there’s two powerful ways to rise above the ego mind.

One is prayer when we talk to God, and the other is meditation when we listen to God. Both are crucial, just like listening is just as important as expressing oneself.

Mystics say a way to get closer to our soul is to simply listen to our breath. They say our breath is like the voice of our soul.

Try sometimes simply breathing through your nose, softly bringing that breath all the way down to your stomach. As the stresses of modern life often cause us to breathe shallow, up high instead of down deep. See what happens.

Another way to get closer to the soul is to remember what you did as a young child before society and school and teachers. While all those aspects of life can be great, sometimes they lead us to get distracted or forget what our original intention or mission here was.

What truly turns you on, you know, what really motivates you and gets you in to the flow of life. Maybe even forgetting time is passing, something where you become the creator.

That is where the soul works.

The soul is a creative being. And so if we get creative here on this crazy earth and these crazy bodies, we’re actually touching upon that spiritual dimension.
