Through Turbulent Times: Why Sensitivity Is Part of the Solution
Here come some truths about getting through turbulent times.
You don’t have to understand everything to care deeply.
You don’t need all the facts to feel real empathy.
It’s okay to feel heavy. That means your heart is still working.
Your sensitivity is not the problem. It’s part of the solution.
You are allowed to pause even while the world keeps spinning. Rest is not retreat. It’s repair.
Small acts of love do matter, especially when nothing makes sense.
When you feel powerless, kindness is still a superpower.
And you don’t need perfect words to show up, just your presence. Some of the most healing moments are completely silent.
Let your breath be the first place you soften. Four seconds breathing in, hold for four seconds, and six seconds breathing out. It’s a good place to start.
Hope isn’t just a feeling. It’s a practice. You don’t wait for it. You build it. And feeling it all doesn’t make you weak. It makes you trustworthy.
People like you are the reason healing is possible.
Even now, love is still the best next step. Not because it’s easy, but because it’s true.
And don’t forget to respond tenderly when times are tough. Tenderness is how we remember who we are. Beneath the noise, beneath the armor, beneath the exhaustion.
So when the world hardens, tenderness is resistance. When the world rushes, tenderness is rebellion. When the world forgets, tenderness is how we remember to care.
It’s not about avoiding pain. It’s about staying soft inside of it. It’s about holding space for each other, even when we don’t have the answers. It’s about choosing connection again and again in a world that keeps asking us to choose sides.
And as I was getting ready to record this, I found this little rock here. “Be kind”.
It’s all it takes sometimes. Until next time, my friend. Wishing you peace.
