
Hereโs What You Never Knew About Your Own Thoughts
If your mind feels like a tangled necklace of thoughts, donโt try to untangle it with more thinking. Your body actually holds the key. You canโt outthink a nervous system stuck in survival mode. Healing actually isnโt in your head. Itโs in your hips, your breath, your spine. The more you try to think your way out, the deeper you sink. So get moving instead.
I recently had a woman write me explaining how she shocked her own therapist after coming in for an emergency session after she was triggered emotionally. However, by the time she showed up for the session, she was completely clear and calm. So what did she do? She didnโt try to talk herself out of the situation or think herself out. She turned to somatic healing, the ancient kind I teach known as qigong.
Itโs the kind that saved me as well. Using ancient forms that purge negativity from our actual organs and calm our thoughts at the root level by calming the heart instead of trying to hide the emotions with pills or trying to talk them away, which can actually go on for eternity. She found healing in the movement. Itโs actually the eight silk brocades that I teach over at Club Qigong.
And her therapist was so impressed, she actually wanted to know more about Club Qigong because she had actually never seen such a dramatic improvement in her client outside of therapy. Of course, you want to check with your doctor with these things, but she was actually able to come off of her medication.
Just doing these amazing forms that activate our energy, or electromagnetic energy, get it pulsing through our organs, clearing out the mental field, and just making us feel amazing.
