The Fast Track to Happiness: Forgive, Take Action, and Build Momentum

You’ll be ten times happier if you forgive your parents and others for any mistakes and start living your life.

It took me years to learn these truths, but I’ll teach you in a couple minutes.

One of the most prominent markers of maturity is when you stop taking things personally. Everybody else is fighting their own battles, too. Instead, take any unwanted events as teachers. Opportunities to grow.

Sometimes it’s more emotionally intelligent to let someone win an argument to conserve your own mental energy. And does anyone really win an argument anyway?

The easiest thing in the world is to complain. The hardest thing is to actually go after your dreams and make them true. But once you take a few baby steps, it’s actually not that hard, because you build up a momentum.

Start getting dopamine rushes off of actually achieving your goals instead of, you know, just scrolling social or whatever. If you always wait for that right time, you’re going to spend your whole life waiting.

You may not need another self-help book. You may need to just simply take action with some self-discipline. And that would include setting up some routines, as you do.

I use gateways. That means I won’t do something I enjoy until I do something I know is good for me. Like a gateway to checking TikTok might be to do some Qigong moves.
