Master the Art of Detachment: Unlock Emotional Freedom and Inner Peace
Here comes one of the most important life skills nobody taught you.
It allows you to see the world as it is, instead of through the eyes of craving and aversion.
So what is this life skill?
Detachment.
When we’re detached, we allow things to be as they are and then, if they come to us naturally, we’re free to act.
When we let go, we can hold on to what truly matters. The peace within.
And it’s not giving up the things you love. It’s just not viewing them with an anchor to your soul.
Cool ways to become detached.
Observe your thoughts like they’re floating down a river and just let them go.
Notice them, but let them drift away.
And when you cultivate stillness in the heart, you can watch attachments melt away like dew under the morning sun.
And of course, focusing on your breath takes us out of our thoughts as well and puts us in the present moment, while our thoughts are usually in the past or the future.
Graceful exercises can help release negative emotions, too.
For more on that, check out the link here. It’s ancient fitness that clears the negative emotions from our organs and allows the good stuff to flow in.
And we also have guided meditations that you can listen to in your sleep to help you detach at the subconscious level from the clamor of the outside world so you can hear the intuitive voice within.
Once that happens, it’s a lot easier to become emotionally free.
